If you're a Catholic man who is eighteen or older, you are welcomed to join us.  Every new member comes to us through the recommendation of an existing member who sponsors and presents them to the council. As a member you are welcomed to participate as robustly or as lightly as your circumstances dictate.

Some of our members are involved in every event and ministry.  Others adopt one or two that are meaningful to them.  Still others show up when they can as they are leading very demanding lives.  Family is first with the Knights, and no one is expected to commit more time to the council than they are comfortable with.

Young men today are very in tuned with the idea of making a contribution to the local community and by extension, changing the world.  The Knights of Columbus gives young men the opportunity to participate in one of our existing endeavors or start a new one of your own and rally our membership to your cause.  We're always looking for new ways to share God's love through our works.

Young men who were active in youth ministry in college will find the Knights to be a new home base from which to continue to do good works and help each other to grow in faith while serving all of God's children in the community.

The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal organization of Catholic men focused on doing good works for those in need in the local community, supporting their local Catholic parishes and schools, and striving to live lives of decency while growing in faith and holiness.  Our members represent a cross section of men in the community coming from a broad range of professions, backgrounds, and ages.

Most men are consumed by responsibilities between work and family. Daily life can be very hectic and exhausting.  Many feel like something important is missing in their lives, but they don't know what.  We believe most men long to do good and noble deeds, to make a concrete contribution to a worthy cause, to help those in need who are struggling to get through a rough stretch in life.  But they don't know what to do or how to get involved.

The Knights of Columbus give men the opportunity to do real good for those less fortunate families in their own community.  Each council is unique and adopts and creates programs and causes to support.  Many of our works are acts of simple kindness to meet some basic needs of the elderly, poor, disabled, or just someone in need of some help.

Early in the history of the Knights of Columbus, in an effort to care for the widows of member Knights and others, we created a life insurance organization and to this day that insurance offering is still there, protecting the wives and families of our members.  Learn more about this by clicking here.

Saint Therese of Lisieux spoke of "the little way".  This is the idea that God is as pleased with small acts of kindness we do for one another as with the massive achievements of those with great means.  The Knights of Columbus changes the world one small gesture at a time.
